I’m lucky to have built a career doing what I love. For over fifty years I’ve been a music educator, and as a retired band director I now teach private lessons to elementary, middle school, high school, and college students.
Whether we meet at your home or online, my goal is the same: help you grow as a musician at a pace that’s right for you.
— Ken Biskie
Mr. Biskie was highly recommended when I was seeking a flute teacher for my daughter in 6th grade — she’s now a high school senior. Over the years she’s grown tremendously: fundamentals, music theory, public solos, ensembles. He’s passionate about teaching, invests in his students, and genuinely cares about them. I absolutely recommend him.
Mr. Biskie was my private clarinet teacher from 6th–12th grade and my middle school band director. Years later, my own two children took lessons from him for 10 years. His students become the top performers in their school bands.
Best music teacher EVER! He teaches me online and I was the only student at my middle school to make our district honor band.
I earned a music scholarship to Cal Baptist University thanks to Mr. Biskie’s excellent teaching.
